Restaurants
Buffalo has a diverse and sophisticated culinary scene that will satisfy the most discriminating palate. You’ll find everything from fine dining at places like Tempo, the Buffalo Chophouse and Left Bank, to ultra-fresh sushi at Seabar or cozy comfort food at Betty’s. What makes dining in Buffalo different? The regional dishes, of course! Don’t leave without trying a mouth-watering beef-on-weck at Charlie the Butcher’s or Schwabl’s, or a perfect charbroiled foot-long hot dog at Ted’s or Louie’s. When you need to satisfy your sweet tooth, grab some artisan chocolates from Chow Chocolat, sip a chocolate martini at the Chocolate Bar, or sample another Buffalo specialty – sponge candy – from Watson’s or Fowler’s. And be sure to make time for a visit to the Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market for produce, meats and baked goods or the historic Broadway Market, for Polish foods like pieorgi and chrusicki.
