Tours, Cruises & Sightseeing

Open Air AutobusFrom Niagara Falls, to Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece Darwin Martin House, to the Underground Railroad experience, to Forest Lawn Cemetery, to the magnificent legacy of Buffalo’s stained glass church windows, Buffalo has a tour to match any interest.

Buffalo Tours, a service of Preservation Buffalo Niagara, offers jaunts of many different types, including a free weekday tour of our iconic Art Deco City Hall. They also have free, self-guided audio tours of more than 50 architectural sites in downtown Buffalo. Listen on your cell phone or download them to your MP3 player.

Buffalo's Architectural TreasuresHop aboard the Open-Air Autobus of Buffalo to experience the wonders of the Queen City with a little wind in your hair. And with stops at hidden, family-owned taverns and colorful stories about Buffalo steelworkers, politicians and celebrities, a Forgotten Buffalo tour is one part history lesson, one part pub crawl. Prefer your history with a splash of the afterlife? Mason Winfield hosts Haunted History Ghost Walks from July through October.

Or get your lake-legs on, and set sail with Buffalo Harbor Cruises or the Spirit of Buffalo—boat tours are a fun way to see Buffalo from a different viewpoint, while hearing about landmarks, the Buffalo and Niagara Rivers, the Erie Canal and historic Buffalo.
